Why do I need to provide API keys?

This tool uses the GitHub API to search repositories and the OpenAI API to translate text and convert natural language queries. Since we don't have a backend server (for security and privacy reasons), you need to provide your own API keys.

Yes. This application runs entirely in your browser. Your API keys are stored only in your browser's local storage and are never sent to our servers. Your search queries and results are processed directly between your browser and the respective API providers.

How do I get the required API keys?

For GitHub, you need to create a Personal Access Token with the repo scope. For OpenAI, you need to create an API key in your OpenAI account.

What languages are supported for translation?

Currently, the tool supports translation to Chinese, Spanish, English, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, French, and German. More languages may be added in the future.
